Abia APC Declares Suspension of State Secretary Null and Void

The Abia All Progressives Congress (APC) has officially declared the purported suspension of the party State Secretary,Chief Chidi Avajah, and Dr. Sylvester Chibuike Onyekwere, the Acting Ward Chairman of Ahia Ukwu Ward 2, as null, void, and of no effect.

According to a statement signed by the State Party Chairman,Dr. Kingsley Ononogbu, the suspension violates Section 31 of the Party Constitution. As a result, any actions taken in pursuance of the suspension are deemed null and void.

The statement emphasized the importance of adhering to the Party Constitution, ensuring that all actions taken by party officials and members are in accordance with its provisions.

The party also announced its intention to summon all relevant parties to ensure a fair hearing, following which appropriate actions will be taken in accordance with the constitutional provisions

The Chairman explained that the the party’s stance on the matter demonstrates its dedication to upholding the rule of law and ensuring that all actions are guided by the provisions of the Party Constitution.
