The leadership of the Forward With Bola Ahmed Tinubu (BAT) Independent Campaign Group (ICG) has paid a condolence visit to the Emir of Gwandu, Major General Muhammadu Iliyasu Bashar(RTD.) on Wednesday at his palace in Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi State.
During the visit, the Director General of the group, Mr. Peter Ifefa, explained that the ICG is dedicated to mobilizing support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in order to build on the achievements of his administration.
Mr. Ifefa stated that the team was in Kebbi State primarily to pay a courtesy visit to the Governor, Engr. Nasir Idris, who is the group’s grand patron.
He added that they also took the opportunity to visit the Emir’s palace for fatherly blessings and to condole with him over the passing of the Emir of Zuru, His Royal Highness Muhammadu Sani Sami Gomo II.
In his response, the Emir of Gwandu appreciated the group’s gesture, describing it as a positive step in their journey. He urged them to continue their mobilization efforts in support of President Tinubu, whom he described as a good Man
The Emir offered prayers for the group, asking God to protect them and grant them wisdom to succeed.
